Zero Harm.Saunders PlantWeave’s growth and iconic project portfolio continues to provide exciting career opportunities in process automation.We are seeking a Support Engineer – Industrial Automation Systems to join the team in Sydney.Saunders PlantWeave provides electrical, instrumentation and Control (E&IC) support and maintenance services across a variety of sites, predominantly in the Sydney Metropolitan Area in the following industries:UtilitiesWater (Supply, Recycling, Desalination, Wastewater)Commercial Fuel TerminalsDefence Fuel TerminalsBuilding Services             Power DistributionManufacturingFood and BeverageThe role includes the following responsibilities:Conduct Preventative Maintenance of supported sites at agreed intervals according to client contracts and following defined proceduresPrepare Preventative Maintenance and general support procedures for any new sites or new services on existing sitesComplete and document audits of E&IC systems as part of site mobilisation activitiesComplete Planned Maintenance activities as requested by the clientRespond to breakdown / unplanned maintenance calls in accordance with contracted response timesJoin the rotating roster for 24x7 (remote and site) support for contracted client sitesAssist with preparing quotations for minor projects and system / process enhancements at supported sitesExecute minor projects and system / process enhancements within allocated budgets and timelinesContribute to establishing best practices and applying the latest technologies to existing sitesWhere required and appropriate, provide a first point of contact for the clientSupport services include working on the following technologies and systems:PLC / DCSSCADARTUInstrumentationEmergency DiallersHistorian / Data analysisIndustrial NetworkingIoT / IIoT solutionsCyber SecurityThe successful candidate will possess:Tertiary qualification in EngineeringA minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a relevant industry/environmentExperience with common industrial control systems and instrumentation products such as:                  Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric                  Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB                  Emerson, Triconex, PilzEnthusiasm for the role and commitment to continual improvement and growth of the businessInnovative thinking and approach to both commercial and technical aspects of service deliveryWillingness to participate in a productive and friendly team cultureCandidates will be highly regarded who can demonstrate:Experience in similar support engineering rolesAdditional qualifications e.g. electrical license, instrumentation licenseExperience and qualifications in Hazardous AreasExperience in terminal automationTHE REWARDSMarket competitive remunerationExposure to resources industryFlexible working arrangements negotiable with project requirementsSupportive workplace cultureYears of service recognition and rewardsSaunders embraces the values of an innovative and diverse workforce and recognises that inclusion sets everyone up for success.
