Zero Harm.Our growth and iconic project portfolio continues to provide exciting career opportunities in major infrastructure projects.We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with proven skills and experience in Construction for large infrastructure projects.OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILTIES:Project Management           - Project scheduling and reporting           - Interfacing directly with the client           - Developing and maintaining project budgets and forecasts           - Planning and overseeing of electrical design and construction           - Preparation of site construction plans, including interfacing with other disciplines             (mechanical, civil, structural)           - Developing, maintaining and executing project planning framework requirements, including:                        - Project executions plans                        - Project quality plans                        - Project HSE plans                        - Project HSE plans                        - Project reporting templates           - Overseeing development and execution of testing documentation including:                        - Inspection and Testing Plans                        - Inspection and Testing Procedures / Records / Checklists                        - Factory Acceptance Testing Procedures                        - Commissioning Plans                        - Site Acceptance Testing Procedures                        - Handover Plans, including coordination of completion documentation (O&Ms, As-Builts etc.)Procurement            - Tendering and quotation packages / specifications review            - Assessment of vendor submissions and sourcing justifications            - Preparing detailed scope of work documentation for site subcontractsElectrical and Hazardous Area (HA) Design            - Overseeing detailed electrical and HA design for construction compliance            - Assisting with design, procurement and/or manufacturing of industrial PLC/RTU/HMI control panels            - Assisting with design, procurement and manufacturing of Safety system control panels            - MCC's, Power Distribution & Main Switchboards for all LV requirements            - UPS, Diesel Generator, Solar Systems Integration            - Protection Systems (LV)Site Management            - Management of site safety, including adherence to all client and Saunders’ safety systems            - Managing Subcontractors and PlantWeave personnel in the construction and commissioning phase            - Overseeing site installation, testing, commissioning, certification, SAT and handoversTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:A minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in electrical project management for large construction projectsEnthusiasm for the role and commitment to continual improvement and growth of the businessInnovative thinking and approach to all aspects of deliveryWillingness to participate in a productive and friendly team cultureCANDIDATES WILL BE HIGHLY REGARDED WHO CAN DEMONSTRATE:Proven experience in Hazardous Areas (HA)Terminal automation systems and terminal integration experienceDelivery and certification experience of process safety systems (to IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 / AS 4024)Design specification experience and implementation of electrical infrastructure to AS/NZS 3000:2018 THE REWARDSSupportive workplace cultureMarket competitive salary Opportunity to work across a range of diverse projects in a rapidly expanding number of industriesAn environment that actively supports continuing education and promotion from withinSaunders embraces the values of an innovative and diverse workforce and recognises that inclusion sets everyone up for success.
