Possibility for relocation assistance available.This is a permanent role for delivery of project engineering services to existing projects in the Darwin area, with a key focus on one team, one aim – zero harm.ABOUT YOUR ROLEEXECUTIONElectrical project engineering deliverables for a variety of projects including:Safety control systemsIndustrial PLC/SCADA/RTU/HMI systemsUPS, Diesel Generator, Solar Systems IntegrationIndustrial MCC's, Control Panels, Power Distribution & Main SwitchboardsScope includes:Development and/or review of detailed electrical drawings – General Arrangement (GA), single line diagrams (SLD) and schematic / termination documentationDevelopment of electrical subcontractor specificationsProcurement activities for project electrical scopeProduction of job-specific SWMSManagement of electrical subcontractorsPlanning, design and documentation for site installation, commissioning and handover processes (including ITPs, ITRs, FAT SAT documentation)Management of on-site installation, testing, commissioning, certificationManagement and production of as-built drawingsElectrical systems troubleshooting and supportControl Systems design & development for common PLC/SCADA platformsSuccessful candidate would be expected to:Be involved in all phases of project delivery including design, implementation, in-house testing, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), onsite commissioning, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), client handover and client supportManage work technically and contractually to ensure that it meets Australian Standards requirements and is performed within the bounds of the organisation's policies and proceduresUse and continually improve company quality procedures to ensure consistent outcomesPropose innovative solutions where established systems are unable to resolve problemsProvide technical support and mentoring for both peers and junior engineers in the teamActively participate and ensure a productive and friendly culture in the teamTravel as requiredCOMMERCIALCompliance with Saunders Project Management System (SPMS) as requiredRaise variations to the contract(s) in accordance with contract definitionAdvise Operations Manager of any problems or events that would impact on customer or public relations and/or involved legislative reactionDevelop and maintain safe working procedures aligned with project planDuring the course of project deliverables, ensure any discussions around project expansion or new opportunities to market are reported back to Operations ManagerSupport tender review processes when requested OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND QUALITY POLICIESAssist the company wherever possible to ensure the overall health, safety and welfare of all Saunders and Saunders PlantWeave personnel, contractors or visitorsEnsure all work practices are carried out in as safe a manner as possible and always complies with all applicable legislation and Saunders PlantWeave’s Occupational Health Safety and Environmental (OHS&E) policies & proceduresInsist that all services delivered to clients always meet the strict quality standards set by the CompanyABOUT YOU:You will work with diverse teams and be responsible for creating a safety focused environment.
