We are trusted by Australia’s oil and gas, mining, water and civil infrastructure industries to deliver quality projects safely and on time.We are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our multidisciplinary team on maintenance programs in Melbourne's western suburbs.THE ROLEThis role will manage the contracts process, produce deliverables, and update tools to support the development of the project contracting strategy, covering contractor qualifications, bid slates, tenders, and proposal evaluations.and that all stakeholders are informed and engaged in the quantity surveillance procedures.Your responsibilities include:Developing detailed Contracting Plan(s) consistent with overall Contracting StrategyDevelops Invitation to Tender (ITT) packages consistent with responsibility matrixMaintaining a database of all correspondenceLiaising between parties regarding contract development, and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as requiredProvides pricing / other commercial analysis to Project Team (PT) for development of contract award recommendationDevelops and leads internal and external kick-off meetingsReviews and comments on Contractor’s contracting and subcontracting plans, procedures, processes, and deliverables to ensure complianceTHE IDEAL CANDIDATETo be successful in the role you will have:10+ years’ experience in Contracts AdministrationStrong understanding of project execution and contracting principles, theories, and conceptsProfessional qualification / certification from related professional body, (ISM – CPM / CPSM, APICS, PMP)Highly developed analytical approachOutstanding communication skills, both written and verbalTHE REWARDSMarket competitive remunerationFlexible working arrangements negotiable with project requirementsSupportive workplace cultureExposure to resources industrySaunders is an equal opportunity employer.
