Spanning over 70 successful years, we are proud of our ever-expanding portfolio of projects covering tank and bridge engineering and construction, terminal expansions, infrastructure remediation, technical EPCM services and industrial electrical/process automation solutions.Due to our expanding awarded project portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our multidisciplinary team to successful deliver a diverse range of projects nationally.In addition to supporting the delivery of projects to a very high standard, the Contract Administrator will be responsible for ensuring that client contract requirements, company policies and processes are applied.The role will require comprehensive knowledge of the principles and practices of contract management, program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation and administration. Using a combination of both strong technical and interpersonal skills, this role will assist in developing effective teams as well as relationships with staff, colleagues and clients.THE ROLE:Based out of our corporate head office in Rhodes you will be responsible for undertaking an array of tasks including:Implementing and supporting Change Management procedures and processes.Undertaking change management controls with reference to EOT, variations and notice of delays.Liaising with key stakeholders on all levels of the company to analyse and determine a comprehensive contract strategy.Designing standardized language and guidelines for contracts.Preparation of tender documentation.Fostering relationships with our alliance partners to ensure repeat business.Sharing and clarifying contract processes, conditions and details with management, business partners and employees.Reviewing contracts, verifying accuracy, and resolving discrepancies in line with company rules and guidelines.Liaising between parties regarding contract development, and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.Identifying potential risks contract changes may pose to company.Ensuring accurate and timely weekly and monthly reporting and forecasting of project costs.Maintaining registers and productivity on the project whilst at all times adhering to Saunders safety policies & procedures.Manage all cost and contractual matters ensuring project costs, revenues, claims, and supplier agreements are administered.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE5+ years of contract administration experience and relevant qualifications.Proficient knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to relevant contracts.Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficient ability to detect errors and inconsistencies. Determining accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and making recommendations.Experience in delivering excellent customer service (experience with premium clients is an advantage)Ability to effectively handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and setting priorities.Practical approach to identifying and solving problems.Strong sense of initiative and proactive approach.DESIRABLE  Quantity Surveying or relevant degree.Experience in construction and/or engineering industries.Strong database of local trades and contractors.THE BENEFITSMarket competitive remunerationExposure to resources industryFlexible working arrangements negotiable with project requirementsSupportive workplace cultureSaunders embraces the values of an innovative and diverse workforce and recognises that inclusion sets everyone up for success.
